Cookie Policy
How Localish uses cookies and similar technologies.
Effective date: 26 August 2026
2. How we use cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies only where necessary to operate Localish securely and remember basic preferences. We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
3. Essential cookies and storage
These technologies are required for the service to function and do not require consent under applicable EU ePrivacy rules:
- Authentication cookies — set by Supabase to keep you signed in and protect your session across page loads
- Security-related processing — Cloudflare Turnstile may set cookies or use similar technologies when you complete verification on signup, password reset, or contact forms
- Theme preference — stored in your browser when you switch between light and dark appearance using our theme setting
Because these technologies are necessary for security and core functionality, you cannot opt out of them while using authenticated features of Localish.
4. No marketing analytics
Localish does not currently use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other third-party marketing analytics cookies.
If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this policy and provide appropriate consent choices before activating them.
5. Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies through their settings. If you block essential cookies, parts of Localish — especially sign-in and account features — may not work correctly.
To manage cookies in common browsers, refer to your browser's help documentation for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy when our use of cookies changes. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
